![]() Step One: Pre-inspection. NewYork Carpet Cleaning service technician will inspect your upholstery, then note any fabric type and soiling conditions. The technician will also advise you of any possible permanent staining.
Step Two: Pre-vacuum. Your upholstery will be thoroughly vacuumed to remove dry soil, which is the most important steps in cleaning.
Step Three: Pre-spray & Pre-spot. The upholstery fabric is "pre-sprayed" with special cleaning compounds specially designed for your particular fabric, loosening up soil and making rinsing more effective.
Step Four: Pre-agitate. The pre-spray will be worked into the fabric with a white towel or horse hairbrush, specially designed for this use.
Step Five: Rinse and Extract. Once the soil has been loosened, NewYork Carpet Cleaning technician will thoroughly flush the fabric with our specially designed upholstery extraction tools. This step sanitizes and deodorize the fabric. Water pressure is regulated so the fabric is not overly wet.
Step Six: Neutralize. Every piece that we clean is pH balanced so there is no sticky residue left behind. This treatment is applied as a rinse through the machine or is applied after rinsing depending on soil conditions.
Step Seven: Pre-spot treatment. If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed. We have procedures for every situation.
Step Eight: Speed Dry. High velocity air movers are set in place to speed the upholstery drying time .
Step Nine: Post Cleaning. The upholstery fabric has a knap, the knap is set in one direction using a grooming brush or white towel.
Step Ten: Post Inspection. The piece is inspected by NewYork Carpet Clenaing technician.
